We've been monitoring the situation surrounding the impending Hurricane Irma, and we've compiled a list of resources for anyone who may be impacted by the storm as it hits Georgia in the next few days. This list will be continuously updated.

Provides Red Cross shelter information, maps of evacuation zones.

Information on I-16 contraflow, schedule changes for I-75 and other traffic navigation resources (NOTE: The contraflow of I-16 will begin at 8 a.m. on 9.9.17.)

Resources for storm planning preparedness

Department of Natural Resources
All state parks will be opened as shelters, with a capacity to serve 3,600 evacuees.  During this time, entrance fees and rules regarding pets will be waived.
