Celebrating Success: 87 Students to Graduate from Roosevelt Warm Springs Center on May 23

[Warm Springs, GA, May 20, 2025] The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) is proud to announce the upcoming graduation ceremony honoring 87 students with disabilities from the Roosevelt Warm Springs Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, marking the culmination of months of rigorous training, academic achievement, and personal growth.

Representing 42 counties across Georgia, the graduating class has collectively earned 380 credentials in fields including Hospitality, Certified Nursing Assistant, Heavy Equipment Operation, Logistics, Light Electrical/Carpentry, and more. Each graduate has overcome personal challenges to reach this milestone, making this a celebration of their resilience, dedication, and outstanding achievements.

“This is not just a ceremony; it’s a powerful reminder of what determination, support, and opportunity can achieve,” says GVRA Executive Director Chris Wells. “Our graduates have worked hard, overcome obstacles, and developed skills that will serve them for a lifetime. We are enormously proud of each of them.”

Founded in 1927 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to treat polio patients, Roosevelt Warm Springs has evolved into a leading center for vocational rehabilitation, offering students with disabilities several pathway options in high-demand, well-paying career fields in a college-like environment. Operated by GVRA, both Roosevelt Warm Springs and the Cave Spring Center in Rome remain committed to empowering individuals with disabilities through education, training, and support.
