Providers to Attend a Pre-ETS Informational Session

GVRA VR is hosting a Pre-ETS informational session for providers, and those currently delivering Pre-ETS services through GVRA are encouraged to attend. 

New program guidelines will be discussed, and provider proposal documents will be distributed.

2019 State Rehabilitation Council Annual Report

The 2019 Annual Report on activities of Georgia's State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) has been prepared with assistance from the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) under the leadership of Executive Director Shawn Ryan and submitted on behalf of the SRC, 2019 Chair Rossany Rios, and incoming 2020 Chair Kate Brady. Per the regulations at 34 CFR 361.17(h), the report provides information on the status of vocational rehabilitation programs operated within the State of Georgia.  Download this pdf file. Flags to Fly at Half Staff Monday, December 16

In honor of Airman Apprentice Cameron Scott Walters, 21, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, who was tragically killed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station a week ago, all flags on state grounds are to fly at half staff on Monday, December 16. The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) joins the rest of the state in observing this Executive Order and in keeping Mr. Walters' family in our thoughts. 

Participation Needed: Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA)

The Research and Evaluation Unit (REU) at Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD) at University of Georgia (UGA) is conducting a Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA) on behalf of the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) and the State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) and we are seeking input from all stakeholders regarding competitive, integrated employment for Georgian’s with disabilities. 

 

Goal of the Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA):  

The goal of this needs assessment is to collect information on the need for services and gaps in services for job seekers with disabilities in Georgia. This information will inform GVRA’s portion of the Georgia Unified State Plan. GVRA wants to provide the best services possible and needs your input to help GVRA improve services for individuals with disabilities. 

Community Input is needed!
