Cynthia Robinson

Cynthia Robinson is the Director of Human Resources for Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA). Dr. Robinson has over 15 years of combined experience in human resources, administration, and business management. She began her state government career with the State of Mississippi, where she worked before moving to Georgia.

For the past nine years, Dr. Robinson has served with Georgia state government in various HR capacities, including Recruiting, Classification and Compensation, Operations, Employee Relations, Absence Management, and policy. Prior to joining GVRA, she worked for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, where she served as a Recruiter, HR Generalist and HR Manager within the Office of Human Resources. She is a graduate of Jackson State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. She is also a graduate of Belhaven University, where she earned a master’s degree in Business Administration. Dr. Robinson earned her Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Indiana Tech University.
