Stephanie Aponte

Stephanie Aponte is the Director of Administration at the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA). Stephanie has a successful track record in sales, service and training with over 30 years of experience. Prior to joining GVRA, Stephanie led Governor Kemp’s Constituent Service team as well as 1800Georgia Call Center while also supporting and mentoring other state agencies’ call centers for the past 6 years. She has been committed to the Governors’ initiative of improving our state’s customer service as she has implemented trainings, calibrations, networking events, mentorship meetings, to include speaking opportunities focused on customer engagement. She was also the Director of the call center for the Secretary of States’ office where she dramatically improved abandonment % as well as improving the average speed of answer for multiple units within that office. Additionally, Stephanie also worked for the private sector for companies such as APAC and MCI where she also led multiple teams with successful track records.

Stephanie was born and raised in Virginia and moved to Georgia 11 years ago, she has 3 children, 3 grandchildren and currently resides in the Atlanta area with her husband. Stephanie is committed to people and believes leading teams with passion and a positive attitude is the key to success!
