Pharmacy Technician

Program Description 

The Pharmacy Technician pathway is a 16 week program with a blended learning model utilizing the renown LearnRx curriculum and various research-based supporting resources. 

  • Program Criteria

    Clients participating in the Pharmacy Technician program must have: 

    • Minimum 8th - 9th grade and above reading/math abilities 
    • Physical ability to perform job tasks 
    • Pass a criminal background check as well as drug screening and obtain registration for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam
  • Training Experience

    The program consists of student facilitated online lessons/modules coupled with hands-on direct instruction from highly qualified staff and extensive externship experience in local CVS pharmacies. 

  • Career Outcomes

    Successful completion of the program prepares individuals for a meaningful career in the high-demand healthcare industry and the opportunity for immediate employment with CVS Health post-graduation as they work toward national certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certificate Board (PTCS).
