The May meeting of the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services (GVRS) Board has been tentatively scheduled. The meeting is being held via Microsoft Teams, and it will be hosted online at this link: Join Microsoft Teams Meeting. The meeting room will be opened just before 1 p.m. on May 13. This meeting is the regular quarterly gathering of the State Rehabilitation Council (SRC), established by federal mandate to represent the input of individuals with disabilities receiving vocational rehabilitation services.
The March meeting of the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services (GVRS) Board will be held in Atlanta on Wednesday the 11th. Please find an agenda here.

The Employment First Council, established in 2018 by House Bill 831, was created to make recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly supporting a push for competitive, integrated employment as the preferred option for people with disabilities receiving government services. Each quarter, council members meet to support the development of policy recommendations to be compiled in a biannual report.
