RWS Development Fund

The Roosevelt Warm Springs Development Fund, Inc. (RWSDF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and functions as the fund-raising arm of Roosevelt Warm Springs (RWS). Chartered in 1986, the RWSDF was created for the sole purpose of supporting RWS in its mission "to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve personal independence and employment success".

Since its inception, over $30 million has been raised to aid building campaigns such as Blanchard Hall, Camp Dream and the Frank C. Ruzycki Center for Therapeutic Recreation. Student services and programs at Roosevelt Warm Springs are supported by the RWSDF, including the Chaplaincy Program. The RWSDF hosts a variety of fund-raising events including the annual Georgia Hall Society Ball, a Clay Shooting Tournament and the "Racing for Roosevelt 5K 'Fund' Run”.

The Vocational Rehabilitation program at RWS prepares young adults with disabilities for competitive integrated employment. Programs and services are grounded in strengths based assessment and assist each student in reaching their maximum level of independence and readiness for employment. The RWSDF depends on donations to support their efforts to create brighter futures for these young adults.

Financial gifts may be made through the RWSDF website (rwsdevelopmentfund.org) or mailed to PO Box 1050, Warm Springs, GA 31830. For additional information, please call 706.655.5666.
