GVRA Supports Disability Advocacy at Columbus Town Hall

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) was proud to be represented at the Mayor's Commission for Person with Disability Town Hall and Resource Fair held on October 20th in Columbus. The event connected community members with city leaders to discuss accessibility, safety, and employment initiatives for individuals with disabilities.

Columbus Office Supervisor Keke Dupree, who serves as Co-Chair of the Commission, helped guide the conversation and reinforce GVRA's commitment to inclusion and empowerment. Project SEARCH Columbus supported the Resource Fair by providing valuable resources and connections, and Columbus Mayor Skip Henderson also attended the event.

GVRA's continued involvement in local initiatives like this strengthens partnerships and supports our mission across Georgia.
