GVRA Welcomes Deana Bohannon to the State Rehabilitation Council

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) proudly welcomes Deana Bohannon to the State Rehabilitation Council. A dedicated advocate with years of experience supporting families of children with disabilities, Deana brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her new role.

Since 2009, she has served as a Regional Coordinator with Parent to Parent of Georgia, where she connects families to critical resources and support services. A former sixth-grade science teacher, Deana transitioned into advocacy after her son Jakob was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, an experience that continues to inspire her work.

GVRA is pleased to welcome Deana and looks forward to her contributions to the Council.
