During the Spring enrollment process, RWS received over 150 applications, each one carefully reviewed by the dedicated staff on the application panel. Of those applications, 114 were successfully approved, ensuring that a new group of students will benefit from the unique educational opportunities RWS offers. The breakdown of students by pathway is as follows:

- Light Electrical/Carpentry: 18 students
- Logistics – Forklift and Warehouse: 10 students
- Auto Detail: 9 students
- Heavy Equipment Operator: 8 students

This semester promises to be filled with amazing experiences for students, including educational trips and exciting industry tours. These tours include visits to IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), Callaway Gardens, Atlanta Forklift Inc., and the Caterpillar Plant, giving students valuable exposure to real-world industries.
“We are thrilled to welcome so many new students to Roosevelt Warm Springs for the Spring semester,” said Chip Medders, RWS Residential Director. “This is an exciting time for our students as they embark on new educational paths and take part in activities that will enhance their learning experiences.”
With a semester packed full of learning, fun, and career development, students at Roosevelt Warm Springs are set to make the most of the opportunities ahead.
