Todd McRae is a lifelong resident of Warm Springs, Ga who has dedicated his career to serving students and strengthening the community he calls home. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia College & State University, Todd returned to his alma mater, Manchester High School, where he began his career as a science teacher in 2006. During his five years in the classroom, he also contributed as an assistant coach in both baseball and football, building meaningful relationships with students both academically and athletically.

With a desire to expand his impact, Todd pursued advanced degrees in Educational Leadership, earning both a Master of Education and an Education Specialist degree. He transitioned into school leadership as an assistant principal at Greenville Middle School before continuing in the same role at Mountain View Elementary School. Over the course of 10 years at Mountain View, Todd served five years as assistant principal and five as principal. During that time, the school consistently achieved strong academic performance compared to state averages while also fostering a positive and supportive culture for students and staff.

Todd later served as principal of Manchester High School before going on to lead Callaway Middle School as principal. In both leadership roles, he worked collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to improve student outcomes and strengthen the overall school climate.

In June 2023, Todd joined Roosevelt Warm Springs as Assistant Director of Residential Services. In this role, he partnered closely with residential staff to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students. His commitment to service and team-centered leadership led him to accept the role of Residential Director on March 1, 2026.

Todd believes strongly in collaboration, shared leadership, and maintaining a student-centered focus in all aspects of his work. He values building relationships and creating environments where both students and staff can thrive.
