GVRA to Host Career Connections and Resource Fair for Job Seekers of All Abilities
ATLANTA, Ga. — Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) is bringing together employers, community partners and job seekers for an exciting day of opportunity and networking at its Career Connections and Resource Fair on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, located at 1630 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30310.The event is open to individuals ages 18 and older of all abilities and will provide opportunities to connect with more than 50 organizations offering employment opportunities, career resources and community services.
“Registration is underway, and we are optimistic that additional attendees are expected as our outreach efforts continue,” said Community Engagement Manager Brandeis Thompson. “GVRA’s Outreach team has shared the event with hundreds of individuals through extensive community and partner networks, helping expand awareness and encourage participation.”
Attendees can take advantage of a variety of free career resources, including professional headshots and dress-for-success tips. GVRA will also provide a dedicated space for employers to conduct interviews with qualified candidates during the event.
The Goodwill Mobile Career Center will also be onsite, providing access to multiple computers where attendees can search for and apply for jobs.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in professional attire and bring multiple copies of their resumes to make the most of the employment and networking opportunities available. During the event, walk-in registration will be available, but attendees can also pre-register by clicking here.
The Career Connections and Resource Fair is designed to help Georgians take the next step toward meaningful employment while connecting them with employers, community organizations and valuable career resources.
