GVRS: The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services were created in 2012. The agency's operations are managed by the Executive Director, but maintain a nine member board who provide oversight and guidance to the agency. The Agency operates five integrated and interdependent statutory programs that share the primary goal of helping people with disabilities achieve independence and employment.

SRC: The Georgia State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) is a federally mandated council composed of Georgia citizens from across the state appointed by the Governor to represent a broad range of individuals with disabilities and stakeholders. The SRC collaborates with the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency to develop plans for services and make recommendations to assist individuals with disabilities achieve employment and independence.

Employment First Council: The Employment First Council is comprised of 14 individuals with disabilities, ties to the community or roles in state agencies serving people with disabilities. Chaired by Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency’s (GVRA) Executive Director, the role of the Council is to make recommendations to the Office of the Governor and the General Assembly for policies and legislation that align with inclusive, competitive employment for people with disabilities.
