“Resilience” Defines Cave Spring Center’s Spring 2026 Graduation Ceremony
On May 22, 14 students from Cave Spring Center (CSC) began a new chapter in their lives as they proudly turned their tassels during the 2026 graduation ceremony. The celebration recognized the accomplishments and perseverance of the graduating class, who collectively earned 53 industry-recognized credentials in Hospitality and Retail/Customer Service.
During the ceremony, Residential Manager Johnathan Thomas presented the prelude to the National Anthem, Transition Liaison Tim Rowell provided the processional and recessional music, and Lead Instructor Cordelia Wells welcomed guests to the ceremony.
The theme of this spring’s graduation was “resilience,” a quality CSC Director Greg Teems said best described the graduating class during his commencement address. Teems also recognized the outstanding efforts of CSC instructors, staff, and GVRA administrators for their continued support and encouragement of the students.
The graduation ceremony not only celebrated CSC pathway students, but also honored graduates of the Business Enterprise Program (BEP). One of the BEP graduates, Mr. Will Kurhanewicz, received his certifications and attended the ceremony in support of the pathway students.
A special thank you goes to First Baptist Church of Cave Spring for graciously allowing the use of its facilities, and to the parents and families whose support and encouragement helped make this achievement possible.
GVRA and Cave Spring Center are proud of the Class of 2026 and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.
