In honor and recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Atlanta City Council has presented Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) with a proclamation. It reads:

Due to ongoing repairs following Hurricane Michael, our Albany VR Office will remain closed through Thursday. Staff who are able to telework will do so as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to reopen Friday.

Due to reported roof leaks, the Albany VR office will be closed beginning now. Damage will be assessed, and VR leadership will be working with the local office staff to determine plans going forward.

The roof to our Albany Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) office sustained damage during last week’s inclement weather. While repairs and cleanup are completed Wednesday, staff who are able to telework should plan to do so.

(Atlanta) – Craig Camuso today was sworn in as the newest member of the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services (GVRS) Board, which advises the state’s vocational rehabilitation agency.

The South Georgia city of Tifton is calling on all branches of its government and its citizens to acknowledge the value that qualified, skilled candidates with disabilities add to the workforce.
