Atlanta City Council issues National Disability Employment Awareness Month Proclamation

In honor and recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Atlanta City Council has presented Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) with a proclamation. It reads:

GVRA Albany Office Closed Thursday 10.18.18

Due to ongoing repairs following Hurricane Michael, our Albany VR Office will remain closed through Thursday. Staff who are able to telework will do so as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to reopen Friday.

Albany VR Closed Due to Roof Leaks

Due to reported roof leaks, the Albany VR office will be closed beginning now. Damage will be assessed, and VR leadership will be working with the local office staff to determine plans going forward.

The roof to our Albany Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) office sustained damage during last week’s inclement weather. While repairs and cleanup are completed Wednesday, staff who are able to telework should plan to do so.
