FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Bainbridge) - When Hurricane Michael made landfall in the southeast and surged into Georgia, the city of Bainbridge, home of Georgia Industries for the Blind’s (GIB) headquarters, received the brunt of its damaging winds, felling trees and leaving thousands without power. Though GIB sustained no structural damage, cleanup of debris, water seepage, and superficial repairs are beginning this week. All operations are temporarily suspended pending the completion of work and restoration of power.

During this time, our customers and partners will experience an interruption of our regular services, including product production and operation of our Client Intake Call Center. Though we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, we are thankful first and foremost for the safety of our colleagues, and we eagerly await returning to business soon.
