  • How can I obtain a referral to the BEP?

    In order to obtain a referral, you must have an assessment completed and accepted into the Vocational Rehabilitation Program and assigned to a VR Counselor. Once assessment and acceptance criteria have been met, the VR Counselor will implement an action plan to prepare yourself to meet the admission criteria required for admittance into the BEP Training Program.

  • How long is the BEP training program?

    The BEP Training Program is comprised of one (1) week ServSafe training, two (2) weeks classroom training, eight (8) weeks OJT training, overall there is eleven (11) weeks of training.

    OJT sites take place throughout the state but mainly in the metro Atlanta and Augusta areas.

    Georgia's Business Enterprise Program (BEP) provides work opportunities to persons who are legally visually impaired or blind as certified by an ophthalmologist or optometrist pursuant to the federal Randolph-Sheppard Act of 1936.
